Contour where shadows fall
Under the cheekbone, along the jaw and the sides of the nose. Use a shade only 1–2 tones deeper and blend, blend, blend.
Highlight the high points
Tops of the cheekbones, brow bone, nose bridge and cupid's bow catch the light and lift the face.
