Start With a Base That Won't Budge

Festival heat and sweat are the enemies of makeup, so prep matters more than the look itself. Press a hydrating primer into clean, moisturized skin, then choose a long-wear skin tint or a transfer-resistant foundation rather than a heavy full-coverage formula that can slide. Set the T-zone with a light dusting of powder and lock everything with a setting spray, misting in an X and T motion. Bright, water-resistant cream products outlast powder shadows in heat and won't crease as fast. Pair a loud eye with a glossy nude or sheer tinted lip so the look stays balanced and doesn't tip into costume territory.

Lock It and Carry a Repair Kit

Even bulletproof makeup needs a touch-up plan after hours outdoors. Finish with two passes of a strong setting spray and pack a tiny kit: blotting papers, a cream blush stick, a travel highlighter, spare gems and a mini glue, plus a clear gloss. Blot shine rather than adding powder so you don't go cakey, and refresh color with a quick cream layer that melts into existing makeup. A few stray fallen gems are easy to repress if you carry the glue with you.
